Step 1:

First select a Borrower from the Bank Account Owner dropdown field, then click the ‘Connect a Bank Account’ button.

 

Step 2:

You will then be asked to provide a mobile phone number to initiate the PLAID validation process

 

 

Step 3:

You will be prompted to enter the one-time verification code sent to your phone

 

 

Step 4:
Next, select or search for your financial institution

 

 

 

Step 5:

You will be prompted to log in using your account credentials for the institution you have selected

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 6:

Depending on the security setting and features of your bank, you may be prompted to complete additional 2-factor authentication or answer additional security questions.

 

 

 

 

Step 7:

Once your secure login has been completed, you may select the account you will be using for HELOC disbursements via direct deposit

 

 

 

 

Step 8:

You will be prompted to confirm your intention to share the bank account details with Spring EQ for verification and direct deposit purposes

PLAID remembers certain parts of the “transaction” and therefore skips over it since permission was previously granted. Once you have completed the verification, you will be directed to the Spring EQ home page receive an email from PLAID confirming the account link has been completed

  

 

Error Message:
The following is the most common error message. This is NOT an invalid credentials error page. This means that the technology failed (ex: loss of internet) They will need to restart the process.
